2026 – 2027 SEASON TRYOUTS

Nov 9-12, 2026 – Location TBD

Please make sure your boys DO NOT wear any club gear to tryouts. This includes shorts, socks, backpacks, shirts, etc. Nothing that will highlight the player trying out as a player from a specific club. Otherwise the student/athlete will not be allowed to tryout for that day.

If an athlete has participated in MLS Next and did not participate in the TPHS boys soccer program the previous year, the athlete should reach out to the TPHS AD before tryouts so their situation can be reviewed. The athletics office can be found under the stairs in the learning commons.

General Student-Athlete Guidelines
All student-athletes must complete the Athletic Clearance Form through the Athletic Department by October 15, 2026 to participate — this includes copies of signed online confirmation page, current physical, insurance (front/back copies) and private auto use form.

Finally, please ensure your player has completed his athletic clearance for BOYS SOCCER before tryouts. If you have not received an email that your athletic clearance is complete, please email TPAthletics@sduhsd.net

1. Mandatory In-Person Parent Meeting with TP Athletics for all Winter Sports on Monday, Nov 16 from 5:30-6pm in the PAC. If your student played a Fall 2026 sport and you attended the Fall meeting you do not need to attend this winter sport meeting

2. Following the mandatory athletic meeting, we will have a TP Boys Soccer Parent Meeting (with coaches and liaisons) on Monday, Nov 16th from 6:15pm-7:30pm in the Lecture Hall. We will discuss details regarding the season
